Project Description

DDG was the Station Park architect and master planner. The project’s location, on a spectacular landscaped park with a lake, playground, and grand fountain is tucked snugly against the base of the Wasatch Mountains. The project is designed to evoke an old railway station, and is influenced by downtown Salt Lake City’s historic brick architecture, and traditional Main Street design. Akin to the project’s design influences, the logo takes cues from vintage traveling trunks and luggage monograms. Anchored by a state-of-the-art fifteen-screen theater, and with a diverse selection of regional and national restaurants, Station Park is one of the state’s premier retail, dining, and entertainment destinations.
