Project Description

Elegant classical forms and exquisitely detailed period graphics distinguish Muvico Rosemont 18 as a unique experience in the multiplex world. The graphics package is an extension of the elaborate architectural detailing that captures the feel of the turn of the century cinemas. Utilitarian necessities like the sound panels, wayfinding and identity signage are transformed into important parts of the larger Golden Age of Cinema storyline. Hand-painted murals adorn sound panels in each individual theater, and gilded trim filigreed scrollwork, and intricate, decorative accents figure prominently throughout all theater signage. Deep rich reds and gold headline the color palette as you stroll the promenade. The grand exterior signage illuminates the skyline with neon and Tivoli lights while the interior signs are framed with baroque influenced scrollwork.
