DDG served as National Harbor designer, a vibrant mixed-use project exuding energy and flair.

National Harbor occupies 300 acres along a scenic 1.25-mile-long stretch of the Potomac River. Located off of the I-295/I-95 interchange just south of the currently expanding Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge, National Harbor offers stunning views of downtown Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria. Just a 15-minute drive from the heart of the nation’s capital, National Harbor is home to Gaylord Entertainment’s newest creation, Gaylord National. Gaylord National features 1,500 luxurious hotel accommodations and a 400,000-square-foot convention center along with National Harbor’s first phase of development.

As National Harbor designer, DDG served as the master planner on the initial phase, which includes a blend of street-level retail, dining and entertainment options along with office, hospitality and residential components to create an authentic urban waterfront community.
