Master Architect National Harbor

DDG is credited as the master architect of National Harbor, an iconic mixed-use project in Prince Georges County, Maryland.

National Harbor offers an eclectic mix of architectural styles; a contemporary interpretation complementing the traditional Washington D.C. architectural ethos. That D.C. connection, along with a planned National Harbor metro stop, a new water taxi service on the Potomac River, a new Washington Beltway interchange and bridge, anchored by Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center makes National Harbor an integral part of an energized and developing Washington D.C. community.

A vibrant mixed-use project exuding energy and flair, National Harbor occupies a 240-acre parcel on the banks of the Potomac River south of the recently expanded Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge. The high-end urban density and waterfront orientation of National Harbor’s first phase evokes an atmosphere reminiscent of Georgetown, Annapolis and Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

As master architect of National Harbor DDG was responsible for the master plan, design architecture and physical modeling of the project design. To view the model, images and to read more, please click here to view our work as master architect of National Harbor.
