DDG Hosts International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy

DDG Hosts International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy

We were proud to play host to the International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy, that was held today in Baltimore by the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, a Berlin, Germany-based not-for-profit organization whose goal is to promote global stability by strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels.

Featuring an opening address by DDG’s CEO, the Symposium drew more than 50 international delegates from the fields of international politics, academia, and business to discuss the importance of building cultural bridges to benefit U.S. security and the national economy.

In addition to the presentation at DDG, delegates met in Washington, D.C. on June 23-24 and continue in New York City on June 26-27.

The Symposium marked the start of an ongoing partnership between Baltimore and ICD members worldwide through the broadcasts on Baltimore Internet Radio, an internet-only radio station that connects Baltimore with listeners in 50 countries and throughout the U.S. and the local producer of the event.
