DDG Gardening @ Patterson Park

DDG Gardening @ Patterson Park

Just up the street from our DDG office is a rare find. In the middle of urban Baltimore, we find ourselves neighboring 137 acres of preserved park land. Over 160 species of birds visit Patterson Park and over 50 species call the Park and surrounding neighborhoods home.

This weekend our team of DDG volunteers, donned on some gloves and boots to help maintain the wetland gardens area. DDG was proud to participate in this greening effort with Patterson Park Audubon Center . The Audubon center is a vital part of our community working with the surrounding neighborhoods to maintain Patterson Park as it continues to be an important part of trans-Atlantic bird migration.
