Construction has started on DDG’s latest project in Turkey, Bahçeşehirpark. Characterized by its high visibility, ease of regional access, and strategic gateway location into nearby luxury residential neighborhoods, the mixed-use project will include three residential towers, a shopping mall, and a lifestyle center.
DDG’s concept design for Bahçeşehirpark will create five distinct zones and experiences: the “Public Park,” a family-oriented, heavily landscaped gathering space which anchors the lifestyle center; the “Central Plaza,” an upscale shopping environment with branded retail facades and a feature restaurant on an inviting plaza environment; the “Shopping Street,” which connects to the Central Plaza via an outdoor pedestrian promenade lined with restaurants and boutiques; “Outdoor Dining Terraces,” presenting dramatic views of the Bahcesehir Park gardens; and the “Covered Mall,” featuring a below street-level gourmet grocery store, food court, retail, and cafes.
DDG is responsible for planning, architecture, logo, signage, landscape, and lighting for Bahçeşehirpark. The architectural character of the entire project is envisioned by DDG as California contemporary, inspired by modern and period styles while embracing current retailing exterior façade expression trends.
