A true “live, work, play” lifestyle destination, Watters Creek’s design and development draws inspiration from the adjacent Montgomery Farm, an ecologically-sensitive residential development nestled within woodland habitats and the Connemara Conservancy, a private land trust. The master plan design architecture creates a “memory-making place” that exudes a profound respect for the land. The rolling topography gives way to atypical undulating shopping streets and buildings; an existing meadow is preserved to become a central public gathering green; and the presence of a small trickling brook is celebrated by elevating its prominence through the addition of ponds and water’s-edge treatments to become the central creek bed that defines much of the project’s identity.
