Although bigger often means more confusing, the renovation of Pretoria's Menlyn Park nearly doubled the size of this popular regional shopping center, while improving access and organization and adding new feature spaces to increase its attractiveness to consumers. Working from a new master plan, Design Group expanded Menlyn Park vertically and horizontally, completing what were partial upper levels and adding a new lower level to the east end.. Entry points have been simplified, and the new garage feeds directly into each of the center's three levels. The design imaginatively transforms the top level of the garage into a drive-in movie theater, which is adjacent to a 16-screen cinema.
