Blue Courtyards Linping, China
The Blue Courtyards master plan envisions a private residential community of courtyard townhomes and villa apartments connected by green spaces and intricate networks of winding waterways and footpaths. A preexisting river flowing through the development combines with lush landscaping elements to serve as an organic complement to defined residential layouts and neighborhood connectors. Blue Courtyards' approximately 1,300 residential units, all between two and five stories tall with south-facing solar exposure, feature tile roofs, stucco finishes, formal gardens, fountains, trees and articulated paths that convey a Tuscan sensibility. A progressive hierarchy of scale and intimate spaces provide privacy and create cohesive neighborhood identities within the larger community.
