Ulker Arena Istanbul, Turkey
Ulker Arena is the energetic destination for the celebration and enjoyment of Istanbul's Fenerbahce Basketball Team. The focus is a successful wayfinding program that works cohesively to direct ticketholders from the moment they enter the site to the moment they sit in their seat. Multiple typography, iconography and color studies where completed to ensure the signage is appropriate for a sometimes frenzied environment where fans are rushing to their seats. Several sign types of various materials and scales are necessary to properly guide people through a maze of decision points throughout the project. Large media walls are also an integral part of the arena's architecture to commemorate the team's history and victories over the years.
